Ashley McKibbin was born and raised in Ocala FL.  Keeping with her Florida roots, she attended Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2005.  She completed her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2008 and became a member of the Florida Bar Association shortly after.

Out of law school, Ashley moved to Tampa with her husband and took a position with Barbri®, a company that assists students in passing the different states’ law licensing exams, called the Bar Exam.  Over the next 15 years, Ashley had the privilege of teaching law students across the country on various Bar Exam related topics, such as Trusts and Wills.  She constantly managed hundreds of student contractors across the country, negotiated dozens of law school partnerships, taught law school classes, and collaborated with law school deans and professors.  This experience has made her an expert in Florida law, an effective communicator, a patient listener, and a master at paying keen attention to detail.

Ashley joined Welter Law Office in June 2025. She focuses on estate planning, wills, and trusts. She prides herself on getting to know her clients on a personal level to truly understand their needs. With a veteran father who dedicated his life to his profession, Ashley takes pride in the strong ethics and values he instilled in her. She is committed to going above and beyond to ensure your future plans are secure, regardless of the circumstances. Ashley remains accessible to all clients and will collaborate with you compassionately throughout the process. Having taught challenging subjects, Mrs. McKibbin brings a unique talent for simplifying complex information into something clear and understandable.

When Ashley is not practicing law, she is spending time with her husband of 22 years; her 9-year-old soccer and hockey player; and her Great Bernese dog, Gatsby.  She also manages her son’s Crunch hockey team in Wesley Chapel.  She and her family frequent Canada, due to hockey games.  Ashley loves to experience new cultures. She has lived in Australia and Rome as well as has travelled to many European, Asian, and South American countries as well as extensively throughout the United States.
